To leave a legacy of greatly enriching the lives of our team members, our clients, and our community for generations to come.
Founders of McConnell Real Estate Partners, Josh & Jen McConnell's son Bodhi was diagnosed with Stage 3 Neuroblastoma when he was just five months old.
By the Grace of God & the incredible staff at MUSC Children's Hospital, Bodhi was diagnosed cancer-free after four rounds of chemotherapy. Since then, Josh & Jen have made it their passion to raise awareness and funds for MUSC & Pediatric Cancer Research.
Each year our brokerage donates a portion of every commission our team receives to Dr. Kraveka's research lab which is located right here in Charleston at MUSC. Her work is making a difference on a national scale, and the research being performed here in Charleston is growing at an exponential rate. We were honored to donate $25,000 in 2020, $50,000 in 2021 and $65,000 in 2022.
Pictured are Bodhi and Dr. Jacqueline M. Kraveka. She hosts the only pediatric cancer research lab in South Carolina.
Josh & Jen are passionate about donating their time to and for many local foundations throughout the year. From speaking engagements for MUSC to national marketing campaigns bringing awareness about pediatric cancer, to hosting food drives for East Cooper Community Outreach (ECCO), giving back is an essential part of their lives and our team's mission.
In 2021, we founded The McConnell Foundation. The McConnell Foundation provides support to pediatric cancer research performed right here in Charleston and shared on a national network.
We have been honored to speak at the MUSC Radiothon since 2019.You can listen to our 2019 interview below. Radiothon has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in under 48 hours each year.

$200,000+ was raised for pediatric cancer research in 48 hours!
We have been honored to share Bodhi's story since he was diagnosed cancer free in 2018. We use this experience as inspiration to raise funds for pediatric cancer research each year. Our son's oncologist, Dr. Jacqueline Kraveka, has one of the only pediatric cancer research labs in the state of South Carolina. We are dedicated to making a difference so a portion of every commission our team makes goes toward pediatric cancer research at MUSC Children's Hospital. Below you get to see Bodhi ringing The Survivor's Bell in the Spring of 2018. Among one of the cooler things we have been able to do with his story is share it with the world during the 104th Indianapolis 500 race in August of 2020. Check out his commercial below!
Whether you're looking to buy, sell or invest in real estate throughout the Charleston area, we would love to share our passion and market knowledge with you.
